Il y a a longtemps que Jennifer a quitté Nice pour rejoindre Paris, mixant peu après ses débuts aux côtés des meilleurs DJs.
Depuis lors, son intérêt pour la musique électronique ne s’est jamais plus démenti tour à tour influencée par la minimale house (playhouse, ladomat), l’electro (erzats audio, intuit solar, dancefloor, Bpitchcontrol, gigolo) jusqu’à ambient (warp, moor music).
A travers ses sets, elle décline un son ‘groovy, deep & dark” mais toujours “sexy”. Résidente aux soirées du Rex et au pulp à Paris, Jennifer prend autant de plaisir à mixer dans des grands clubs institutionnels comme Fabric – Londres, au Nitsa – Barcelone, le panorama bar de Berlin… que dans des clubs de plus petites tailles comme le batofar ou le pulp.
Après Electroniculture et Flash photographie de la scène électro-minimal en gestation, elle sort en 2005 Lust, sa troisième compilation. La plus personnelle sans doute. Mais aussi certainement la plus accomplie, celle où elle affirme sans détour l’intensité dramatique de son style.
Elle signe un superbe mix sur le label de Michael Mayer Kompakt en 2008, feeling strange.
En 2011 Jennifer Cardini a sortie Rexperience # 2, et crée son label Correspondant portant le nom de ses soirées au Rex, et elle continue son chemin qui la fera passer par Nice, avant une tournée US.

Pop Ambient returns. Kompakt’s beloved series. This is our other arena of bliss, always curated and carefully compiled by label co-owner Wolfgang Voigt (aka GAS). Somber times call for more introspective sound scapes – “Pop Ambient 2011″ continues it’s mission to slowly persuade it’s signature sound introduced over a decade ago. This year we see the series leaning towards a slightly darker complexion than it’s predecessors. We launch with a selection from one of Voigt’s favourite albums of 2010 – the impeccable “Bernsteinzimmer” from ANBB aka Carsten Nicolai/Alva Noto from Raster Noton and the legendary Blixa Bargeld of Einstürzende Neubauten. Marsen Jules aka Krill.Minima brings classical composition to soothing synthetic reality with “Once In A Moment”. Triola is the ambient voice of legendary Cologne producer Jörg Burger aka The Modernist. His track “Dunkelraum”, refers to the psychomotoric concept of learning and interacting in a completely dark room. Compared to the melancholic but soothing and light Triola-signature-sound, “Dunkelraum” is a rather dark and epic maelstrom. Wolfgang Voigt chooses to remain unveiled this year as he presents an exclusive track on “Pop Ambient 2011″. “Rückverzauberung 1″ his new PROFAN concept. Emotive, GAS-eous harmony that glows and leaves you wanting more. Bhutan Tiger Rescue is the surprising duo of October and Ewan Pearson. They debut with a sleigh bell melodic drone tune that ominously breaks down in a sea of noise. Kompakt co-founder Jürgen Paape recalls the vintage beauty of “Ambient 4″ Eno together compelling vocals and horns to sooth the way. Bvdub is one of today’s most revered musicians and we’re pleased to welcome him back with his seemingly endless layers of depth. Crato could be Pop Ambient’s answer to black metal – a most unholy matrimony but exceptionally executed! Fellow Cologne conspirator Daniel Ansorge aka Barnt made waves in 2010 with his debut on the Magazin imprint alongside Crato and takes the sound of the chime to astounding levels. Mikkel Metal of Copenhagen returns after a very successful run of releases on Echocord contributing a masterful synth-pop excursion. Jens-Uwe Beyer may be known to many as Popnoname and has remained a highlight of past editions of Pop Ambient. This year he thrills us with a guitar treatment with “Volax” – sincerely Beyer’s, he evokes a talent not unlike Tim Hecker. Finally, we leave you this year with a production of epic proportions. In October, 2010 The Orb’s own Thomas Fehlmann performed together with select members of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kent Nagano. We present an exclusive, alternative Fehlmann “solo” take of “Symphony No. 1″ aka “Titan” by Gustav Mahler. The “Pop Ambient 2011″ version is an exclusive solo version of this classical recording. The live recordings from this one-off collaboration shall be released on 12″ limited edition, hand numbered vinyl as “Titan One” (KOM 224) on January 31, 2011.

DANZCA est le dernier coup de poker de deux DJS français en pleine perdition : Paul Nazca, grand et vieux et Maxime Dangles, petit et jeune boutonneux.

Has been total de la scène électronique, Paul Nazca tourne en rond. Il tente désespérément de mixer sur 3 platines mais n’arrive jamais à savoir lequel de ces disques se décale. Les Pioneer CDJ 1000 avec leurs compteurs BPM l’aident à peine à sauver les apparences. C’est lors de sa récente venue à Paris, au Rex club qu’il touche le fond en vidant littéralement la piste après avoir pris une leçon de mix lors du warm-up. Le souvenir de quelques sorties improbables sur Bpitch Control, Boxer Sport ou Giant Wheel l’incitent pourtant a persévérer dans cette voie que tous savent sans issue.

Maxime Dangles, quant à lui, est un jeune con prétentieux et arrogant. C’est par accident qu’il sort “Noémie” sur Speicher en 2006. Au lendemain d’une soirée qu’on imagine de tous les excès, la team kompakt écoutent sa maquette par hasard. Se souvenant qu’il manque un titre sur le Speicher 39 et complètement à la bourre sur leur planning de sorties industriel, ils se disent que ce titre passe-partout en vaut bien un autre. Depuis cette sortie, Maxime ne cesse de se prendre pour une star et a déj� perdu la moitié de ses amis, y compris sur myspace.

Considérée comme leur ultime chance par les rares observateurs de ce genre musical moribond, leur collaboration repose pourtant sur un concept complètement bancal. Une rencontre visant (officiellement) à faire dialoguer ancienne et nouvelle génération, réconcilier les machines analogiques et les plug-ins… mais qui n’est en fait qu’une pathétique excuse pour se retrouver deux fois par semaine et avaler des bières (� l’huile d’olive) et des chips.

Sans doute aurait il mieux valu qu’elle ne voit jamais le jour mais l’ironie du sort en a voulu autrement. Maxis, remixes et lives sont déj� en préparation.
